I offer many services for your computer & web needs with a focus in web development & design. Your web site can either be static in content or dynamic, allowing you to control the content on your site. I write dynamic web sites in either PHP, ASP, or JSP, depending on your environment and work with many databases such as MySQL, MSSQL and OpenQM.
Web Development
With the ability to develop web applications in PHP, ASP, or JSP, utilizing my services allows you to remain robust and versatile in your project scope. If asked "What would you recommend developing my site with," I would recommend and initially pursue the option of developing in PHP. Why in PHP? PHP is capable of being run cross-platform, easy to work with, light weight, and I've already got a multitude of code written for it thereby decreasing the development time.
Database Development
From administration of your database to integration with other systems, I can provide it for you. With experience in both relational databases as well as multivalued databases your business can operate smoother by requiring less systems.
Linux Implementation
Many businesses don't realize how implementing Linux systems in their IT infrastructure can benefit them.
The first thing that comes to mind when the term open-source is thought of is free; however, this is not entirely true. While you don't always have to pay for the software or technology itself because of its licensing, it does cost more to implement this software or technology.
So then why do it? While the cost can sometimes be higher in the short-term implementing open-source solutions as compared to some other solutions, the costs in the long-term are dramatically decreased. A company that pays X amount for the initial installation of a Linux server does not have to pay for the hidden fees associated with other servers and their software. Some servers require the purchase of an annual license for the operating system, then you also have to pay for licenses for each connection to that server from another computer, then licenses for the software on that server and so-on. As you can see, the costs can quickly add up.
